Paris Saint-Germain officially announced the signing of PSG U19 forward Ilyes Housni. The 17-year-old has been particularly impressive at the U19 level scoring 11 goals (19 in all competitions) in 11 matches in the 22/23 season.

Before making his move to the PSG academy the Créteil native played for his hometown club Créteil, Paris FC, and AS Jeunesse Aubervilliers. This year has been somewhat of a breakout season for him. The French youth international scored 6 out of PSG’s 9 goals against Reims in the Championnat National U19.

Due to his superb finishing and technical ability, he is deployed as a center-forward for PSG U19. However, he may be undersized at the next level to be left as a single striker. He can also be used as a wide attacker or second-forward. Most importantly he is efficient with the ball and plays well off of it.

The Parisian up-and-comer was born in Créteil (suburb of Paris) but is also eligible to play for Morocco. So far he has chosen Les Bleus at the international level. At the U18 level, he has already scored 2 goals in 3 appearances for France. PSG’s U19 team has some very special players and Housni is one of the group’s very best.
