Nice’s Mario Lemina nearing Wolves move – Get French Football News

[ad_1]

Foot Mercato are reporting that Wolverhampton Wanderers are nearing the completion of the signing of OGC Nice midfielder Mario Lemina (29).

The two clubs are in advanced negotiations for the transfer of the former Fulham and Southampton midfielder, and the Gabonese international’s return to the Premier League is getting closer. It is thought that Nice will accept €10m for Lemina, who are for just over €5m in the summer of 2021, and has since gone on to make 58 appearances for Les Aiglons.

The player was set to start in Nice’s game against Montpellier on Wednesday, however, with an agreement for his transfer nearing a conclusion, Lemina ultimately had to settle for a place on the bench. He did make it onto the pitch as Les Aiglons swept aside Montpellier, beating their Mediterranean rivals 6-1.

After the match, Lemina’s wife, Fanny Neguesha, posted a picture from the Allianz Riviera that said “Nice to meet you”, alluding to a possible imminent departure. The final details of the move still need to be sorted before a medical, which is expected to take place this week.
