Franck Haise confirms Adrien Thomasson set to feature against Auxerre for Lens – Get French Football News

Speaking to L’Équipe, Lens general manager Franck Haise has confirmed that new signing Adrien Thomasson should be set to be involved in the Sang & Or’s clash against Auxerre, being eligible to be picked by the boss for the Ligue 1 fixture. “He should be eligible to play,” said Haise, “He’s already played a lot this season with Strasbourg so he is in good shape”.
Thomasson, who was recently acquired by RC Lens for €3.9m from Strasbourg, should be expecting a debut with his new team in the match against Auxerre on Saturday at 5pm. Despite only participating in a few collective training sessions, Haise says that Thomasson is familiar with the game plan and is ready to contribute to the team.
Defender Massadio Haïdara and his teammates at RC Lens have also welcomed the new recruit Adrien Thomasson with open arms. Haïdara stated that Thomasson is a good player who is “familiar with Ligue 1 and that he will bring a different skill set to the team, offering more options“.
