According to an announcement by the club, Toulouse have signed Norwegian right-back Warren Kamanzi (22) on a deal which will run up to 2026 from Norwegian first tier club Tromsø. L’Équipe report that the deal was worth around €600,000 according to multiple sources.
In search of a right-back to fill the absence of Danish defender Mikkel Desler, Téfécé have recruited 22-year-old Norwegian Warren Kamanzi from Tromso, who are 14th in the first tier of Norway, the Eliteserien.
The Norwegian U-21 international, who has scored three goals and provided four assists in 28 league games, will not be available immediately, as his new coach Philippe Montanier has confirmed. Les Violets’ new number 26 has not played a single game since November 13, date of the last day of the championship in Norway. In his last game with Tromsø, he scored a goal and provided an assist in a 2-2 draw.
