Sergi Roberto has expressed his desire to stay a Barcelona.
The 30-year-old’s contract is set to expire in June 2023, but he hopes that he can stay at the Nou Camp beyond this season.
Based on an interview that appeared on Sport, it seems seems as though the player from Reus is set to continue at the Catalan outfit:
“We haven’t started talking yet, but I would like to stay. From what the coaching staff have told me, they are very happy and want me to stay. I’m enjoying football again and I’d love to be able to continue, and above all to have a good feeling and be able to enjoy myself on the pitch in a Barça shirt.”
The player from Reus, who can play both as a central midfielder and as a full-back, has only played 12 games this season in all competitions due to injuries.
