Randal Kolo Muani targeted by Manchester United and Bayern Munich
After his impressive performances at the World Cup, notably scoring in the semi-final and sparking France’s ill-fated resurgence in the final, Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani has seen his profile climb to new heights.
As a result, the former Nantes man has attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs – with L’Équipe reporting this afternoon that both Manchester United and Bayern Munich have him among their targets.
The Red Devils are said to be readying a €60m offer to bring in the Frenchman this winter. However, having only made the move across the Rhine this summer, Kolo Muani – who has five goals and eight assists this season – wants to remain in the Bundesliga for the time being.
Bayern Munich have expressed their interest to the player’s entourage, although unlike the Premier League side an offer is not yet on the cards. The Bavarians would be aiming to bring him in next summer – an arrangement that would work for Eintracht Frankfurt, who want to keep hold of Kolo Muani until the end of the season at least, ahead of their Champions League tie against Napoli.
