PSG’s Christophe Galtier: “There won’t be any arrivals unless there are departures.”
Speaking in a press conference ahead of Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 clash against RC Lens, Christophe Galtier has said that the current Ligue 1 leaders won’t be proactive in the January transfer window.
After a busy summer window, which saw the arrivals of Nuno Mendes, Hugo Ekitike, Renato Sanchez, Fabián Ruiz, Carlos Soler, Vitinha and Nordi Mukiele, PSG are set to be quieter this winter. Galtier has now revealed that he doesn’t expect any incomings this month, whilst he added that no players within his current squad are agitating for moves.
PSG have been continuously linked with a move for a centre-back and were strongly linked with moves for Milan Skriniar and AS Monaco’s Axel Disasi. Whilst neither move materialsied, rumours of Skriniar’s arrival at the Parc des Princes have rumbled on. However, Galtier also sought to downplay the potential arrival of a centre-back next month.
