Téléfoot journalist Saber Desfarges has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are interested in reuniting OGC Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram (21) with his former manager, Christophe Galtier.
The pair worked together last season. Galtier left Les Aiglons in the summer to join the reigning Ligue 1 champions, however, Thuram remained at the Riviera club. According to L’Équipe, PSG were looking at the possibility of bringing Thuram to the Parc des Princes in the summer, but a transfer – ultimately – did not materialise.
Instead, Galtier’s midfield was reinforced by the arrivals of Vitinha, Carlos Soler, Fabián Ruiz and Renato Sanches. Despite this, Desfarges is reporting PSG are still interested in the player, and the club’s management are following him closely. It was not specified whether a move was being considered for this month, or during the summer.
PSG are also interested in Khéphren’s brother, Marcus. The Borussia Mönchengladbach striker’s contract expires in the summer, and the French international is attracting interest from across Europe. Chelsea are reportedly following the striker’s situation, as are Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
