Official | Mads Bech Sörensen returns to Brentford after Nice loan spell cut short

Mads Bech Sörensen (23) has seen his loan spell at OGC Nice cut short. The Danish centre-back returns to Brentford without having played a single minute for Les Aiglons.

Sorensen joined Nice on transfer deadline day, with the Brentford defender joining just minutes before the end of the window. He signed on loan for the 2022/23 season, and the deal did not include an option to buy the player. However, Sorensen has not even played a minute of football for the Ligue 1 side, and he makes his return to Brentford an official communiqué from the club announced.

This season, Sorensen has played more minutes for parent club Brentford than for Nice. Prior to his move on 1st September, he had featured four times for The Bees, including three times in the Premier League. He also started and scored in an EFL Cup clash back in August. Nice have wished Sorensen the best for the continuation of his career.
