According to L’Équipe OGC Nice has ‘no shortage’ of offers from several Ligue 1 clubs as well as from the Middle East for a potential departure – with the player himself open about his desire to leave the club to the management of Nice. The paper also reports that Delort’s unhappiness stems from his relationship with Lucien Favre, as well as salary commitments made that have reportedly not been kept by the club.

Delort was bought for €10m in 2021 from Montpellier, and had a good first season at the club where he scored 18 goals (16 of which where in Ligue 1) – he has also scored five goals at important times this season in the league.

Whilst the player is reportedly happy at Nice, a loan move could be on the cards with RMC Sport and Nice-Matin previously reporting that Lens, Rennes, Fiorentina and Salernitana could be possible destinations for the striker.
