According to L’Équipe, young Lyon winger Bradley Barcola (20) wants a loan move away from the club with several French sides interested in the player, as well as Swiss first division side FC Saint-Gallen. Lyon are yet to open the door for a winter departure.
FC St. Gallen are currently negotiating with Lyon over a loan move, and is reportedly the preferred destination of the France U20 international – yet Les Gones have not yet decided whether they will let the player leave. Meanwhile, Strasbourg, Metz, and Nîmes are also interested in the player. Barcola is currently under contract at Lyon until 2026.
After being the subject of interest from Troyes in the summer, Barcola opted to stay at Lyon. However, the player has had limited game time this season, playing only 74 minutes in eight appearances off the bench. Laurent Blanc will have to decide whether he will use the player for the rest of the season, as Lyon look to climb the Ligue 1 table.
