L’Équipe are reporting that Leeds United have made Hoffenheim’s Georginio Rutter (20) a priority target, and have even submitted an offer for the French forward, thought to be worth €30m.
Rutter, who came through the ranks of Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais, and who has made two appearances for the France U21 side, has made 15 Bundesliga appearances this season. In that time, he has scored twice and registered two assists. Last season, the Frenchman scored eight times and registered four assists in 33 Bundesliga matches.
Leeds United are targeting an offensive signing this winter, and have made Rutter their priority. The Yorkshire club have even made an offer for the player, thought to total around €30m. Rutter, who joined Hoffenheim in the winter of 2021, has a contract which runs through until June 2026.
Hoffenheim are currently 11th in the Bundesliga, whilst Leeds are 14th in the Premier League.
