Dimitri Payet added to Marseille’s growing list of injuries – Get French Football News

As reported by L’Équipe, Dimitri Payet will miss out on Marseille’s trip to Troyes on Wednesday evening – the attacker is undergoing treatment for an ankle problem.
He joins a growing list of injuries at Marseille with Amine Harit still absent with a serious knee injury, whilst Jonathan Clauss did not train with the squad on Monday and is unlikely to feature against Troyes. Meanwhile Eric Bailly and Nuno Tavares will be serving suspensions for two separate red-card incidents: one of which was a moment of madness from Nuno Tavares which saw the Portuguese aggravate the opposition crowd following a wild swipe. Eric Bailly managed to hospitalise his opponent in the Coupe de France this weekend with a high foot to the chest. Thus, the pair both miss out for OM.
However, whilst it looks as Igor Tudor’s squad runs bare – centre-back Samuel Gigot has taken part in collective training and could feature this Wednesday.
