Paris Saint-Germain have this afternoon announced that midfield prospect Ayman Kari has signed his first professional contract with the club, with the 18-year-old signing a deal that will keep him in the French capital up until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The France U19 international has been a fixture in PSG’s Youth League teams since last season, and has trained with the senior team in the new campaign as part of the new “elite” group of young talents, although he has yet to make an appearance under Christophe Galtier’s orders.

His impact in continental play has included three assists in five games, as he helped the youth team reach the last 16 stage. Kari has reportedly been one of the most sought-after members of PSG’s latest youth intake, with links last summer with a move to Bayern Munich, as well as other top European sides, eventually coming to nohing.
