Bayern Munich won their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title after they defeated FC Koln 2-1 on a dramatic final day of the season.

Despite lifting the league title and the German Super Cup, it was a turbulent campaign for the Bavarians.

They sacked Julian Nagelsmann in a very surprising move in March, installing Thomas Tuchel in his place.

However, they were not very convincing under Tuchel, losing 4-1 on aggregate to go out of the Champions League at the quarter-finals stage.

Bayern would also have missed out on the Bundesliga title if Borussia Dortmund hadn’t suffered a huge collapse on the final day.

Edin Terzic’s men had a two-point lead at the top before their final home game against Mainz. But the Black and Yellows suffered two goals in the first-half and despite a stunning late comeback could only manage a 2-2 draw.

Bundesliga season schedule shows regular matches will start in August, but football fans can also enjoy some highly exciting pre-season games this month.

1- Bayern Munich vs Manchester City

City will enter the 2023 pre-season fixtures on the back of a stunning 2022-23 campaign that saw them winning the continental treble. The Premier League giants will meet Bayern on July 26 at the National Stadium in Tokyo.

2- Manchester United vs Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund will be looking for a good pre-season after a huge disappointment last season. They will square off with Manchester United in a blockbuster match on July 30 at the Allegiant Stadium.

3- Bayern Munich vs Liverpool

Manager Jurgen Klopp has made huge changes to his Liverpool squad as he aims to make a huge comeback next term. The Reds will take on Bayern at the National Stadium in Singapore on August 2.

4- Chelsea vs Borussia Dortmund

Another mouthwatering Bundesliga pre-season fixture will see Dortmund locking horns with Chelsea on August 2 at the Soldier Field in Chicago.
